A bicycle ride from Ancona to London to promote the Marche region and its products in Europe

Cucine Lube is supporting the Long-Ride Marche – London cycling event in the Milanese stretch, due to take place on Tuesday 31 June. For the occasion, the Lube Concept Store in Via Massena 2/a, angolo Corso Sempione, will host a wine and food event, presenting specialities of the Marche at 6.30 p.m.

Long-Ride Marche – London is an exciting journey across part of Europe as far as the “Avenue Verte” cycle route between Paris and London, where the event will end. Six cyclists, ambassadors of the best products of the Marche region, will ride along 2100 km of cycle routes, to promote the excellence, culture and tourism of the region. A culinary event will be organised at the end of each stage, where it will be possible to enjoy the fragrances and flavours of the rolling Marche hills.

The event is the brainchild of Mauro Fumagalli of Marche Bike Life and is being held with the organisational support of Cinevel – Viaggi d’autore (part of the Trans World Shipping S.p.A. group). Cucine Lube is sponsoring the project to focus attention on an initiative which combines sport and promotion of the area and its landscape and numerous cities of art and old towns.
