From Tuesday 6 February 2018, Gruppo Lube will become a cardio-protected company, at both the Treia and Caldarola offices, following the installation of 4 automated external defibrillators (AED) and training of 32 employees as future BLS-D operators.
Installation of the defibrillators is an important step towards a Corporate Social Responsibility policy focused increasingly on the health and safety of all employees and the local community as a whole.
This commitment was celebrated with a Certificate Award Ceremony in which the 32 operators who have completed the BLS-D Training Course received their certificates, held at 5 p.m. in the conference room at the Treia office. The one-hour ceremony included speeches from the company doctor, Dr. Francesco Cenerelli, and Alice Brisighelli, the trainer who held the course on behalf of the Italian Red Cross.
The next objective of Gruppo Lube will be to increase the number of trained operators and availability of the AED, to ensure the emergency response system becomes even more efficient.
Gruppo Lube demonstrates once again the attention it focuses on workplace health and safety and ensuring the company is increasingly modern, environmentally friendly and safe.
